NEAPLes and SOLFATARA
Leave the hotel by coach and along the coast, passing Cetara and Vietri, to Naples, which was once the capital-city of the region, conquered by several people, all of whome contributed to the unique character of the city and its people. Visit of National Museum of Naples, pass the Royal Palace and the battle-scarred castle, which reminds us of the city's turbulent history. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Drive out via Mergellina and Fuorigrotta to the Solfatara where you will see bubbling lava-pools and steam erupting from a small, still active, volcano. Return to the hotel for dinner.
